BIRDS BANDED at
HILTON POND
WOOD WARBLERS
(Emberizidae: Parulinae)


Of the 35 species of Wood Warblers (Emberizidae: Parulinae) reasonably expected at Hilton Pond Center, all have been captured and banded on-site. Perhaps the most unexpected were three Connecticut Warblers netted within one spring week in 1991.
